An old hand of Malaysian keelboat racing, he is now a professional sailing instructor. Aswad competed in the World Match Racing Tour (WMRT) with Malaysia’s Koo Racing Team, racking up a total of 3 wins and 8 podiums places. They came second in the 2016 WMRT USA Grand Slam Series, earning them an invitation to compete in its separate foiling M32 series. A key crew member of Malaysia’s sole TP52 Ulumulu and Hong Kong’s Reichel/Pugh 77 Jelik, his keelboat experience lends crucial guidance to the team.Best Results
