Malaysia Takes Silver Medal at the SSL at the SEA Games

Chon Buri, December 18 – Malaysia closed out the SSL at the SEA Games with a hard-earned silver medal after four demanding days of nation-against-nation racing in Pattaya. The team stayed consistent in light and shifting breeze in the medal race, and remained in medal contention through a tight Grand Finale. “We fought Thailand all week and we gave them a good battle,” said skipper Khairulnizam Mohd Afendy. “We’re proud as a team and we keep our head high. We will come back again for the gold.”
